Where are you located?

-  New Bern, NC 

What is the meaning behind your shop name?
- I came up with it in a brain-storming session, finding something synonymous with "vintage" paired with another word that was an alliteration. When I wrote down Rebel, I knew it was the one. I see myself as a rebel. And it also made me think of the line in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, “I’m a loner, Dotty. A rebel.”

How long have you been selling online?

- I started selling on ebay in college for extra cash way back when ebay first started, but I've had my current business on Etsy since 2014.

Besides Instagram, where else do you sell?
- www.retrorebeltrading.com, Etsy, Chairish, and a collaborative vintage shop at 317 Pollock Street, New Bern, NC called Dirtybarn Vintage.

What's your favorite decade and why?

- I love the 60’s & 70’s, I shoulda been a flower child. 

Why do you love vintage?

-   I love vintage because the items are pretty much one of a kind, and the aesthetic of clothing was more bold in the 60's & 70's. I also like the sustainable aspect of buying vintage, reusing what may have gone to a landfill & sticking it to big corporations that are creating pollution and getting way too rich for the common good.
